The ACE Center was founded in 2003 for the purpose of addressing the needs and issues of family caregivers. Family caregivers are those caring for aging, ill or disabled members of the family or close friends. Studies show that as individuals serve as caregivers, more often than not, their own needs go unmet. Family caregivers take on a range of duties and responsibilities, from daily care, to grocery shopping, preparation of food, financial management and even serving as a contact person for family members residing in care facilities.
The purpose of ACE Center is to ensure that caregivers are aware of resources available to them, assist in connecting caregivers to service providers and enable opportunities for caregivers to communicate with others going through similar circumstances. We provide caregiver support group meetings, workshops, referral services and online resources to for caregivers.
The Adult Care & Enrichment (ACE) Center provides information and resources to inform family caregivers of services and products that enable them to provide good, quality care for loved ones.
